How does an LED bulb work?
Inside the bulb, dozens of LEDs are wired in series and a small IC keeps their current steady. Tap the blocks, watch the LED current; then use "Find the fault" to work out why it went dark.

⚠ Safety: There's no transformer in this bulb: while it's in the socket, everything including the LEDs is at mains voltage. Only open it after removing it from the socket and discharging the capacitor.
